After months of rumours and specualtion, 1000s of auditions in person and on video, Verity Hunt-Ballard has won the title role in the upcoming Australian production of Mary Poppins.
Hunt-Ballard, a 2003 WAAPA graduate, is currently playing Franki Valli's lover in Jersey Boys. Rehearsals for Mary Poppins will start in May with the $16 million production opening in July of this year at Her Majesty's Theatre.
